by Rachel Hollis
Rachel has a way of completely bringing down your walls and telling it to you like the sister or best friend you didn't know you needed. Girl, Wash Your Face is a story of the steps she took to get past her own fears and struggles and really launch into her own.

I maybe didn't relate directly to every little bit of her story, but I could sure empathize. And the truth and the gut-wrenching honesty was spot on, enough so that I've started tackling projects I never even dreamed of when I decided to start coaching.
by Jen Sincero
Jen Sincero is the type A, boss I strive to be. She takes a no-nonsense approach and says, look, you know what you have to do, so go do it already! It won't be easy, it won't always be fun, but is your goal to have fun or is your goal to make money?

If your goal is to make money, the steps really are simple. Sure you tailor them to your situation, but ultimately they work the same for all of us. So stop doubting your ability, and start making money!
by Mark Manson
Mark gets completely real about life. It's not all curse words, but he drops them when appropriate. This book will help you prioritize yourself and the pieces of you that really matter, because who doesn't need that reminder sometimes!

I also really enjoy that he is now off this uber-successful run of this book, and working on the next one and talks very openly about what that means to him, what it took to achieve a mega-goal like this and get back up to find the next thing in his life. Check it out.

Company of One is a refreshingly new approach centered on staying small and avoiding growth, for any size business. Not as a freelancer who only gets paid on a per piece basis, and not as an entrepreneurial start-up that wants to scale as soon as possible, but as a small business that is deliberately committed to staying that way. By staying small, one can have freedom to pursue more meaningful pleasures in life, and avoid the headaches that result from dealing with employees, long meetings, or worrying about expansion. Company of One introduces this unique business strategy and explains how to make it work for you, including how to generate cash flow on an ongoing basis.
Custom Life & Business Planners
Planners, OMG, I love planners!

Start Planners are the bomb and I couldn't run a kick-ass business and manage my family without this one! I seriously doubted the value given their higher than average cost, but having gotten a cheaper version this year to save a little dough, guess what?! I've preordered mine for next year, totally worth it. Check out their site, they have way more than just planners!
