I am losing my mind!


Don't worry, you're not alone.



If you find your mind racing a lot these days. Never fear. Your mind is performing and working at it's best.


Look, our brains are story tellers. Think about it. What happened when someone didn't respond right away to a text message. Or a business proposal. Or job offer. What did your mind do? It finished the story.


We are constantly filling in the gaps. Have you ever driven home and totally spaced out the whole way? Yep, that's you mind being engaged, but also using that time for "other" data processing.



Well guess what? No matter what you are doing today, your mind is trying to process this pandemic. What will school look like? Will I get sick or my family? Even if you physically move on, your mind is still trying to solve this puzzle.


So cut yourself some slack. Your mind is messy, because it doesn't know where to focus. It doesn't know what the future looks like and wants desperately to figure it out. Give yourself the space to process some of the emotion or facts or questions you have about this time we're in. And watch how you have more clarity and focus on the stuff the rest of the body is engaged in!
